CCBA KNOCKOUT TEAMS OF FOUR
This is a Green Point event with the draw made on Sunday 18 October at the County Swiss Teams event. Closing date for entries 11 October.
Venue : By arrangement at the Home team's choice of venue
Entry Fee : £2 per player plus £2 per team for each round after the first.

Each round must be completed by the date notified with draw details.  if matches are not played by these dates, one or both teams will be disqualified.  If two teams fail to agree on a date for play, or in any other dispute, the Tournament Secretary may refer the matter to the Appeals Committee, and they shall decide the matter. The venue will be by mutual arrangement.
Early rounds will be played over 4 sets of 8 boards (32 boards), the semi-finals over 5 sets (40 boards), and the final over 6 sets (48 boards). One IMP will decide the winner.  In the event of a tie a further 8 boards will be played; if still a tie the match must be replayed.
teams may be of 4,5 or 6 players all of whom may play in any one round. Teams of less than 6 may use reserves provided that the total nuber in the team does not exceed 6.  reserves must not have been nominated, or have played, for any other team.
In order to qualify for green points, a team member must have played in at least half of the total number of boards in the match.
The winning Captain must send a scorecard to the Tournament Secretary, signed by the losing Captain, showing the winning team names, date played and result of the match, plus the entry fee for the next round.
It is hoped that the overall winning team will enter the Pachabo (EBU Inter County teams of Four Championship) to be played on 12-13 June 2010. The CCBA will pay entry fee and contribute towards travel expenses.
